They talk about Erzulie (2022), a Fantasy/Adventure movie Christine Chen is the Co-Writer/Director/Producer of. She tells us all about Niche Filmmaking since Erzulie was made knowing the Mermaid Community could be an audience for this. Christine Chen gives details about the importance of marketing toward these select groups and how they did that for Erzulie.
She also talks about how other mermaid movies like Splash (1983) and The Little Mermaid (1989) played into this fan following. Other topics include how she co-wrote the script with writer Camille Gladney.
