August 2012

Pitch Sales Scorecard

It’s hard to tell from just glancing at the below overall numbers, but pitches have been hot this summer: There were eight pitch sales over the past four weeks, one shy of the nine that sold over the previous four weeks. Granted, the same period in 2011 was even hotter (there were 25 pitch sales in June/July 2011), but we’ll take it: The only two month period to beat this summer’s numbers so far this year was March/April, in the thick of the Spring selling season.

The past month’s sales were pretty down-the-middle -- sales were spread pretty evenly across the studios, WME continued to dominate its rivals, etc. -- so we’ll dispense with the usual bullet points and get you straight to this month’s grids. Enjoy.
