Pitch Sales Roundup
This is one of our favorite weeks of the year: The holidays are well behind us, we’ve recovered from Sundance and the Spring selling season is about to gain serious momentum. The 2013 pitch and spec markets are already showing signs of life -- not quite to 2012 levels, since January 2012 was unusually strong, but already ahead of 2011. And we should hear about several more sales by the end of the month.
In case you missed it, here’s a link to the 2012 Year-End Spec Scorecardwe published last week. And in case you missed it, the Scoggins Report is now brought to you by Jason’s new web venture, SpecScout.com, which has a sparkly new interface to go with its up-to-the-minute spec tracking. Check it out if you haven’t already.
In the meantime, the January pitch sale numbers are below, along with the usual weekly breakdowns and the details of each sale.
Get in there and win, Hollywood.

About The Scoggins Report:
The Scoggins Report is a terribly unscientific analysis of the feature film development business based on information assembled from a variety of public and non-public sources. The numbers in the reports are by no means official statistics. Caveat emptor. Mol?n labé.
