Script Magazine's west coast editor, Joshua Stecker, talks to playwright and screenwriter Bob Glaudini on the film version of his play Jack Goes Boating. The film stars Phillip Seymour Hoffman (in his directorial debut, as well), Amy Ryan, John Ortiz and Daphne Rubin-Vega. The film tells the story of a reggae music-loving limo driver (Hoffman) and a blind date that sparks a tale of love, betrayal, friendship, and grace centered around two working-class New York City couples. The film is currently in theaters.
