Scott Z. Burns co-wrote the Academy Award®-winning film The Bourne Ultimatum, the 2007 action-thriller from Universal starring Matt Damon and directed by Paul Greengrass. Burns also wrote and directed the critically acclaimed HBO film Pu-239, which was produced by Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney. Burns produced Paramount Vantage’s Academy Award-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, along with Laurie David and Lawrence Bender. His extensive writing and producing career includes Contagion, The Report, and The Laundromat, amongst others.
