Paul Guyot

Paul Guyot’s first paid writing gig was the David E. Kelley created
SNOOPS, about female P.I.’s whom David had lick whipped
cream off each other during Sweeps Week. In spite of this ill-omened
debut, Guyot has gone on to write and produce nearly 300
hours of television, including FELICITY, JUDGING AMY, LEVERAGE,
THE LIBRARIANS, and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS.
NatGeo beat out several networks in a fierce bidding war for
Guyot’s original pitch THE BLACK 22’s—based on the true story
of the first African-American squad of detectives in St. Louis,
MO. After a year of development, Guyot took the project back due
to creative differences, and is now writing the story as a
feature with David Oyelowo attached to star.
He experienced all nine circles of Hell when he co-wrote
GEOSTORM, a feature which—thanks to some rabid fans in
Indonesia—grossed over $220 million.
When he isn’t writing, Guyot enjoys golf, cycling, fishing, and
fabulous meals in amazing restaurants. He has authored several
award-winning short stories. His only social media presence
(which he believes is neither social nor media) is Instagram.
