This week Ashley Scott Meyers talks with screenwriter Dennis Paoli about how he got his start by writing scripts for the legendary Horror Director Stuart Gordon, his most recent film ‘Suitable Flesh,’ and how it sometimes takes 25 years for a script to get produced, an inspiring story reminding writers not to give up on their stories.

This week Ashley Scott Meyers talks with screenwriter Dennis Paoli.

They talk about how Dennis Paoli got his start by writing scripts for the legendary Horror Director Stuart Gordon. Many of these scripts are adaptations from the novelist H.P. Lovecraft including Re-Animator (1985). His most recent credit is Suitable Flesh (2023) starring Heather Graham, Barbara Crampton and Judah Lewis which was directed by the well-known filmmaker Joe Lynch.

Dennis Paoli talks about that work and how it sometimes takes 25 years for a script to get produced, an inspiring story reminding writers not to give up on their stories.
