This contest has a top prize of $500. The best two screenplays in each of the categories will receive an opportunity for production consultation and consideration for production at The Maine Studios. Screenplays can be Shorts, Television Scripts or Feature length and in any genre.

Restrictions
Only electronic entries (PDFs) will be accepted. The script must be completely original. The script cannot have been produced, sold or optioned. Participants must be at least 18 years of age.

Awards given in Horror, Comedy, Drama, Family, Action and Short Film for Feature Film, Short Film and Teleplays
In addition, the Top 2 Scripts in Feature, Short and Teleplay will be recognized and eligible for the Grand Prize: $500 and a consultation and consideration for production by The Maine Studios. Additional Prizes will continue to be added until Oct 31, 2010.
Readers and Judges:
The readers are a variety of film professionals. The judges are the executive staff of The Maine Studios.
