Filmmaker Joe Clarke released his first book this week, a personal development tool that pulls the drapes back on the artist lifestyle, and what it takes to make it in the film industry.

"The Tao of Hollywood: Self Growth for the Independent Artist" is a raw and intimate look at the process of creation, and lessons learned through the author's journey from Iowa to Hollywood. The book examines the definition of success and its deeper meaning while exploring the motivations behind desire and drive. This existential analysis of internal versus external success gives insight for the reader to apply to their own creative journey in their day-to-day pursuits.

The book may be found on Amazon on paperback, hardcover, and Kindle.
