Hollywood is the land of dreams for screenwriters, directors, producers and everyone involved (or wanting to be involved) in filmmaking. And film festivals are where those dreams can be turned into reality.

It's no secret that if you want to get noticed as a writer/director/producer of short films, there's no better place for it than L.A. Studios are always hungry for new talent.

Award winning writer/director/producer Dawn Fields sat down recently to identify 53 upcoming film festivals that are based in the L.A. area.
