About:
Bob Saenz has been writing professionally since 1990. He started by writing bits for his nighttime radio show on KYCY in San Francisco and later writing for and producing talk radio at KGO/KSFO in San Francisco. That led to his being hired to rewrite and add humor to existing industrial film scripts for commercial production companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 1995, he wrote his first full length screenplay and within 6 months of completion of the first draft, optioned it to Tina Sinatra at TSProductions at Warner Bros. and Norman Lear at Act III Productions, who together got the project placed at Polygram Pictures.
Then he optioned his original scripts to Jimola Films, Ascendant Pictures & Move Films (Chris Eberts), Robin Gurland & Laurent Bouzereau, Intrepid Pictures (Trevor Macy and Marc Evans), School Pictures (Stephen Israel), Levinson Productions, and BCDF Films. He also signed with John McGalliard, at Chaotik Management in LA and directed his first short film, “Ice Block Love”, a frenetic comedy.
