June 2012
Pitch Sales Scorecard
It’s a good thing the spec market has been so strong over the past six weeks -- it’s making up for a faily low number of pitch sales over the same period. As you can see from the first grid below, last year’s June and July numbers were top shelf, so 2012 is all but certain to trail 2011’s year-to-date total through at least mid-summer.
Have no fear, though, the spec market is here. Five of the last six months have seen double digit spec sales, and by the time the Spring selling season closes at the end of June, that’s as likely as not to be 6 out of 7. Thanks to those numbers, 2012’s combined spec and pitch sales through the end of May are still 16% up over 2011.
Enjoy the grids.
